Welcome
West Valley CHAI - The Collaborative Hebrew Afterschool Initiative you have been looking for!

The CHAI program is an exciting new Jewish children’s community in the West Valley, allowing children to experience and learn Judaism in a fun community setting. Program fees are minimal and our goal is to be accessible to all.
West Valley CHAI is a collaborative program of Beit Hamidrash of Woodland Hills, Woodland Hills Torah Community, Beit Avraham Synagogue, Kahal Levy Congregation and Temple Moreshet Yahadut Teyman, and is sponsored by the Jewish Federation Valley Alliance.
There are several components to the CHAI program:
- A Hebrew afterschool learning program on Tuesdays at Beit Hamidrash of Woodland Hills
- A Sunday learning program at Beit Avraham Synagogue
- A Sunday children’s social hour
- Community family programs
Learn! Play! Socialize! Volunteer! Teach! Reach out! Donate! Get involved!
